Glissade Shrug

a versatile wrap

The Glissade shrug is a versatile wrap to dress up your spring wardrobe. This little sweater covers the shoulders without covering up your favorite tank top or dress. Fun cap sleeves, a classic ballet wrap tie, and endless color options make it a quick project for knitters who love sock yarn but aren’t in the mood to knit socks. It is knit from the bottom up and joined at the shoulders using the kitchener stitch. A ribbed edging is worked by picking up stitches around the armholes and along the neck. A double-knit band is attached to the lower edge of the sweater without seaming.

P.S. This pattern includes waist shaping to highlight your own fabulous geometry. It even makes a great maternity shrug!
