The Easter Basket cowl is a cheerful, spring-inspired knitting pattern filled with delightful seasonal motifs. Playful bunnies, fluffy chicks, blooming tulips, crunchy carrots, and Easter eggs come together to create a charming, storybook feel.
This pattern is packed with little tricks and surprises. The Easter Basket cowl includes full-color and greyscale charts. In the Easter Egg section, it may look like you’re working with three colors, but rest assured—you’ll never need to carry more than two colors at a time in this project. Clever stitch-slipping techniques do the heavy lifting, creating bright, colorful Easter eggs without any fuss. The result is a fun, eye-catching effect that’s simpler to knit than it appears. AND, I have included 2 alternative, 2-color Easter egg charts for creating your own bespoke eggs!
This cowl includes:
seamless construction
stranded colorwork
textural stitches
slipped stitches
video tutorials
Easter knitting fun!
A portion of this cowl will be worked in textural stitches. These sections will be charted and include written instructions. This pattern includes stranded colorwork. In fact, most of this pattern will be worked in stranded colorwork. The stranded colorwork will be charted, but will NOT include written instructions. All stranded colorwork will be done in the round and you will never need to carry more than 2 strands at once.
