Reflecting Pond

I love the way that water can repaint the world around it by stretching, bending, and twisting the landscape. The Reflecting Pond wrap was inspired by the mansion at Allerton Estate. Caught in the ripples of the water, the solid brick manor melts into blur of delicate shapes.

This wrap was designed with reflection in mind. The Reflecting Pond pattern is knit flat in two pieces and then joined with a 3-needle bind off. The lace of the first triangle is echoed, but not replicated in the second triangle. A wonderful pattern for lace knitters of all skill levels, this pattern includes lots of relaxing garter stitch, and three sections of simple lace.
